2nd Version
Optional Awareness Exercise if needed to warm up. With each cue, you can either build on the one before or switch your attention from one to the next.
Everything I see, either in a soft gaze somewhere in front of me, or just everything in my peripheral vision.
Everything I see.
Everything I hear.
Everything I hear.
Everything I feel on the outside of my body.
Everything I feel on the inside of my body.
Everything I feel in my heart.
Meditation and/or Conversation. As inspired, please pause to share.
In your mind, take yourself through the moments of your day.
How did you spend your time?
Is there anything you would do differently?
What would you do the same? or What went right?
How would it look to use your time in a way that aligned more with your values and goals?
How would that feel?
How did you respond to the stresses of your day?
What would it look like to respond to these same stresses in a more aligned manner?
Can you imagine how Christ would respond to these stresses?
Picture yourself responding and rehearse what it would look like to meet these stresses with faith, belief, love, and peace.
What’s one of your biggest challenges and what are you learning from this?
What’s missing from your life? What do you need more of?
What are you not seeing about how God is trying to bless you and how you might be blocking Him?
What was the best part of your day, or what were you most grateful for today?
How did you experience the hand of the Lord in your day?
Let gratitude fill your soul.
Experience it moving through your body.
Because of Him, you can have your burdens lightened. You can repent, change, and come into alignment, and you can have beauty in each day.
Requests
Do you have a specific request you’d like to make tonight, either of yourself or of me? (If it’s a request for me, please go right to the specific request, verses a lot of backstory or criticism).
