John & Narelle Canaan - Private event
John Canaan is a one-of-a-kind performer and relationship trainer whose voice and insight have touched lives around the world. He began writing music about relationships as a college student at BYU, and even then, his gift for connection was evident—so much so that ex-girlfriends would come to him for advice.
His musical journey led him to record “What If I Loved You?”, which became a #1 hit in Utah and Idaho in the early 1980s. He also recorded Michael McLean’s “You’re Not Alone,” which was sent out to millions, internationally, on the “Bounce Back” tape by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You might also recognize his voice on the Together Forever video, Come Unto Him & Let Him Heal Your Heart.
Over the years, John’s performance résumé has included warm-up concerts for artists like Kenny Loggins, TV and radio interviews, performing on cruise ships worldwide, and presenting relationship workshops & conferences around the country.
His wife Narelle is originally from Australia. She is a passionate life coach who loves assisting people in breaking free from limiting beliefs and supporting them in creating the lives they want to live. She’s a loving dedicated Mother & Grandmother. John and Narelle live in Daybreak, Utah, with their blended family of ten children.
